Sir – Recently I was discharged from the John Radcliffe Hospital. Not bad as I am in my 89th year and it was my first experience of being an in-patient in any hospital.
I cannot praise enough the cheerfulness and tender loving care I received from the doctors and nurses, and everyone I came in to contact with, in Ward 7E.
The beds were stripped every day and replaced with clean laundry and the ward was kept exquisitely clean.
The food with varied menus was so appetising and beautifully presented. The view from the window looked out across the countryside, which all added to my enjoyable stay and recovery.
