THREE burly strippers are set to treat villagers to a one-off performance of their routine to raise money for a pre-school, writes Katherine Macalister.

Here Come the Boys! – who boast ex members of the Chippendales among their number - were filming in Kennington launderette Rub-A-Dub-Dub, and certainly had the regulars in a bit of lather – as they limbered up for a UK tour.

The shop’s owner, Frances Baker, said: “It was great fun, but I did tell them to keep their underpants on because we didn’t want to upset the ladies.

“One of my regular customers had a wonderful time with them dancing around and folding their laundry.

“She really got into the spirit of it.

“It did make us laugh.”

HCTB is rehearsing in Oxfordshire for their mammoth national tour.

But before being unleashed on the UK’s female population, they are treating a lucky invited audience to a one-night-only performance at Tackley village hall to raise money for much-needed pre-school funds.

The pre-school is housed in a temporary building, but has applied for a new £300,000 custom-built premises in Tackley Primary School grounds, and has been short-listed by Oxfordshire County Council for a £250,000 grant.

Tackley Pre-School chairman, Vanessa Benson, approached HCTB in bid to raise the remaining £50,000. And to promote the exclusive teaser performance in Tackley later this month, and film a promo video, Lord Rob Walters, Kevin Casper, and JJ May of Here Come The Boys! arrived at Rub-A-Dub-Dub and began stripping off.

“When they say children are our future, it really is the truth, and it is so important to provide secure and comfortable surroundings for them to learn “ said Here Come The Boys! Tor Kristiansen, one of the original stars from The Chippendales cast.

“The British heritage is very highly valued by us Americans, and if we can do something to help keep the traditions, we are honoured,” said Kevin Casper, who since leaving The Chippendales became a landscape gardener for VIP clients, including actor Johnny Depp.

The 15 members of Here Come The Boys! perform sexy routines during a show featuring live music, hot dance moves and muscle, all choreographed by Cris Judd (ex-husband of Jennifer Lopez, lead dancer for Michael Jackson during his History Tour and ex-Chippendales dancer).
