I AM writing on behalf of the team responsible for organising the Jump for Heroes project, in support of the charity Help for Heroes.
Our project takes the form of a John o’ Groats to Lands End cycle and tandem skydive marathon, at five drop zones around the UK.
It was inspired by a close friend of ours who lost his legs to a roadside bomb in Afghanistan last year.
One of our skydiving events takes place at the Hinton Skydiving Centre, near Brackley, on Saturday, June 27.
Our project is very much dependant on the support of local people, and we would encourage people to either participate in, or sponsor our event.
