AS A member of the Royal Commonwealth Society (Oxford branch), I very much welcome and applaud Her Majesty the Queen’s email message to young people around the world.
She thanked those young people who responded to an invitation to help her celebrate 60 years of the Commonwealth and to say what the Commonwealth meant to them.
I sincerely hope that this will spur the youth of Oxford, and elsewhere, to look online at the Royal Commonwealth Society’s educational and youth projects and events, thereby stimulating them to think about the special links between countries that the Commonwealth of nations can inspire.
