HERE Come The Boys! gave the women of Tackley a night to remember after staging a teaser show at the village hall to raise much-needed money for the local pre-school.

The 15 dancers and singers gave local women a sell-out taster of what’s to come in their new national show, which is being launched at London’s O2 arena.

But the number of Here Come The Boys! sexy routines was just not enough for Tackley show, so choreographer Cris Judd took to the stage completely impromptu and performed a mesmerising show-stopper with his dancers.

Judd had not danced on stage for years and said: “This was a once only, unplanned moment in time. It was as magical for me as it was for the audience. The atmosphere was so amazing, I really wanted to do this to help the kids.”

Vanessa Benson, Tackley Pre-School chairman said: “We were delighted with the event. The boys performed for free and were hugely generous both with their time and their considerable skills. Everyone here had the time of their lives and we have raised thousands of pounds for the pre-school into the bargain. We had octogenarians here mixing with teenagers and they were all having a great time. Mind you, I think the boys enjoyed it too.”

Katherine Payne, one of the organising committee, added: “It was a brilliant night. We are a tiny little village and not only did we have these gorgeous hunks take time out of their rehearsal schedule to help us but then for a massive star like Cris Judd to get up and perform like that, it just doesn’t happen. We are all still in shock.

“We raised a fortune in ticket sales and in the auction, which they stayed and hosted, and we will never be able to thank them enough.”

Here Come The Boys is a new group, comprised of six of the former Chippendales. For more information about their new tour, see www.herecome theboys.com
