A village was filled with the sound of screaming women after a troupe of buff male dancers performed a risque show.

Here Come The Boys! — which includes six former Chippendales — performed at Tackley village hall to raise cash for the village’s pre-school.

About 130 women from the village, north of Kidlington, watched as Cris Judd, ex-husband of Hollywood actress and singer Jennifer Lopez, took to the stage for an impromptu dance.

Mr Judd, the 15-strong troupe’s choreographer, said: “This was a once only, unplanned moment in time and it was as magical for me as it was for the audience.

“The atmosphere was so amazing, I really wanted to do this to help the kids.”

Mr Judd had already watched his troupe perform four sexy routines before strutting his stuff.

The sell-out event was designed as a teaser for Here Come The Boys! national tour, as well as to raise money for the pre-school.

Vanessa Benson, Tackley Pre-School chairman, said: “We were delighted with the event. The boys performed for free and were hugely generous both with their time and their considerable skills. Everyone here had the time of their lives and we have raised thousands for the pre-school into the bargain.

“We had octogenarians here mixing with teenagers and they were all having a great time. Mind you, I think the boys enjoyed it too.”

Katherine Payne, one of the organising committee, added: “It was a brilliant night. We are a tiny little village and not only did we have these gorgeous hunks take time out of their rehearsal schedule to help us, but then for a massive star like Cris Judd to get up and perform like that, we are all still in shock.

“Thanks to Here Come The Boys! we raised a fortune in ticket sales and in the auction that they stayed and hosted, and we will never be able to thank them enough, or forget this special night.”
