REGARDING the letter about free bus passes (On The Buses, Oxford Mail, May 18).
I am also a pensioner with a free bus pass which I use about once a month.
I recently caught the bus from Henley Avenue to Carfax. But when I looked at my ticket, I saw it was printed Wesbury Crescent-Hythe Bridge Street (two stops extra). Was this a mistake by the driver on the bus, or is the city council being taken for a ride.
How often does this happen?
