An Oxford tower block is being evacuated following reports of a fire in a flat.
Seven fire engines are currently at the scene of the fire at Evenlode Tower, in Pegasus Road, Blackbird Leys.
A Thames Valley Police spokesman said officers were alerted to the fire at 7.30pm after smoke was smelt as it came from one of the flats.
The spokesman added: "The fire brigade have begun evacuating the building."
