A MOTHER and daughter team took part in the regional final of a hairdressing contest for the second year running.

Anne Veck, who owns a salon in the Causeway, Bicester, used her daughter, Chloe, as her model in the Wella Trend Vision Southern Regional Finals, in London. Ms Veck beat off stiff competition from hundreds of entries from across London and the South East to reach the final 12. Chloe, 16, said: “It was a thrill to reach the regional finals last year, so to do it again was awesome.”
