BRIDES-TO-BE battled it out at Cotswold Wildlife Park, in Burford, to win their dream wedding.

Ten women had to complete challenges such as feeding a pack of lions, shovelling rhino dung and putting their hands into a jar of cockroaches.

The competition forms part of a new reality show called Brides on a Bus, to be screened on satellite channel Wedding TV next year.

The 10-part series shows the contestants travelling across the country on a double-decker bus, as they compete for a wedding in Gretna Green.

Tony Prince, programme director, said: “The Wedding TV crew couldn’t wait to visit Cotswold Wildlife Park as part of the shoot for the forthcoming series Brides on a Bus.

“Here, the remaining brides were challenged to face their biggest animal fears.”

During the 10-day journey, Wedding TV visited the Eden Project in Cornwall, Cardiff Blues Rugby Club, Blackburn Rovers FC and an Indian restaurant in Birmingham.

The women not only lived together during this time, but voted each other off the bus and out of the competition.
