A woman was grabbed by a passenger in a car as she walked home in Bloxham.
At about 1am on Sunday, a 26-year-old woman was walking through the village on the main road (A361). As she approached the war memorial, a small dark car stopped next to her. The rear passenger window was wound down and a man put his arm through the window and grabbed her.
PC Ian Gibbard said: “The woman managed to break free from the man’s grip and ran away. The car then sped off in the direction of Banbury. The woman believes there were three, possibly four people in the car.
“I appeal to anyone who was in this area in the early hours of Saturday morning and saw people in a car acting suspiciously to contact police.”
