A DRIVER who died in a crash on the M40 at the weekend has been named.
David Warters, 41, died after his white Ford Transit van collided with a lorry on the southbound carriageway on Saturday at 5.30pm.
The crash occurred between Junction Six at Lewknor and Junction Five at Stokenchurch.
Mr Warters was from Macclesfield, Cheshire, and a spokesman for his family issued a statement which said: “One of the good guys, David will be greatly missed by all his family, friends and colleagues.”
A 42-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and released on bail until February 15.
