A blaze at former pub the Cricketers Arms, in Middleton Road, is being treated as arson by police who have appealed for information following the fire at about 11.15pm on Friday.
Investigating officer Det Con Rebecca McCamely said: “At this stage it is not known how the fire was started but we do believe that it was started deliberately.”
