Oxon Senior League round-up

ROBERT Honour came off his sick-bed to score all four goals in BCS Bardwell's 4-2 victory at unbeaten Oxford University Press in Division 1, writes NEIL WOODCOCK.

His four-timer took his tally for the season to 11 goals. Press replied through Bailey Harmen and Darren Bradford.

In the Premier Division, Garsington, who were on the brink of folding a week ago, recorded an excellent 1-0 win at home to unbeaten Worcester College Old Boys & Bletchington.

With only minutes to go, Mark Simms, who re-signed for Garsington last week, got the all-important goal that will hopefully help breathe new life back into the club.

Rover Cowley moved up to fifth with a 4-2 win at home to lowly Kennington.

Man-of-the-match Mark Beeches grabbed a brace, with further strikes from Rory Barrett and Ben Bhatti.

An Alan Jefferies penalty and Kevin Birch made up Kennington's tally.

Meanwhile, Garsington Res have withdrawn from Division 2A and Kirtlington Res have dropped out of Division 2B.
