Full back Richard Davies scored a hat-trick of tries as Oxford recorded a one-sided 44-8 victory away to Abingdon.
Other try-scorers for Oxford, who scored 28 points in the first half, were centres Brendan Kent and Nick Obolensky, winger Andy Bucknell, prop Gary Walter and second row Vince Curry.
Abingdon, who could only register a penalty goal from Xavier Lecocq in the first half, started the second with a 15-minute surge which yielded a try for Tom Clarke.
