ABINGDON Town erased one of the worst memories of the season when Chris Potter's stunning free kick gave them a 1-0 win over struggling Flackwell Heath at Culham Road yesterday.
Less than a month ago, Town crash 4-1 at Flackwell, but Potter's 78th minute strike, which went in off a post, secured three vital points.
John McMahon and Mark Scanes also went close for Town.
