A new traffic order has been drawn up bringing in street parking regulations in Eynsham.
Eleven of the village's streets, as well as the area around the Oakfield industrial estate, will be affected, although county engineers say it is more of a "tidying up" process.
The new order has been produced at the request of Eynsham Parish Council and objectors have until April 26 to give their views to the county council.
Colin Carritt, area traffic engineer, said: "We are not doing a blitz of yellow lines, it is more a case of making some sensible modifications to what's already there.
"Primarily, we need to regularise the parking in and around the industrial estate in Oakfield Road."
