DUNSTABLIANS, with their three-year 100 per cent league record to maintain, oozed confidence as they trounced Banbury Bulls 61-13.
Dunstablians led 23-0 at half-time, three of their tries coming from interceptions starting from near their own line, emphasising winless Banbury's lack of confidence.
Banbury raised the hopes of their supporters in the second minute after the restart, when centre Ben Harrison crossed over for an unconverted try and then kicked a penalty goal.
However, any Bulls' revival was nipped in the bud as Dunstablians raced in for four tries, two of them from interceptions.
Winger Stuart Viggers interrupted the flow of Dunstablians tries, with one for the Bulls, to bring the score to 47-13.
In the closing stages, Dunstablians added two more tries to condemn Banbury to bottom place.
