A playgroup can buy more safety mats for a climbing frame thanks to a £100 grant from the Oxfordshire Community Foundation.
The St John's Centre, in Carterton, needs the mats to allow children to play on the climbing frame while their mothers take a break.
Emma Tracy, director of the foundation, said: "We are delighted to contribute towards this valuable group.
"We try to focus our grants on small, grass-roots community organisations which are making a small but significant differences to people's lives."
Margaret Billings, from the St John's Drop-In Centre, said: "We are extremely pleased to receive this contribution towards the purchase of two more safety mats.
"Many families rely on our service to provide early education for their children.
"We need to make sure this is safe for their peace of mind."
