Guides have recruited six village personalities to promote the guiding movement.
The six have agreed to become ambassadors for Kidlington District Guides as part of the the Guide Association's Reach Out and Recruit campaign.
They are Dr David Evans, of Kidlington Health Centre; Nick Duval, chairman of Kidlington Recreational Trust and Kidlington Cricket Club; Jim and Margaret Williamson, of Church Street, Kidlington; Joyce Rhymes, of Cherwell Stores, Kidlington; and Cllr Dave Green, chairman of Oxfordshire County Council.
They will help spread the word about guiding in the community, and Kidlington District Guides look forward to welcoming them to guiding events.
