Two pubs have been picked out for special praise by real ale buffs following a tour of Jericho, Oxford.
Local members of the real ale campaign group Camra visited seven pubs and gave two of them, The Bookbinders' Arms in Victor Street and the Harcourt Arms in Cranham Terrace, a five-star rating.
Matthew Bullock, a spokesman for Camra, said: "Both pubs got the five-star rating, which is what our members describe as 'beer heaven'.
The pubs gained the recognition for their good beers in the Oxford Drinker, Camra's quarterly magazine.
