A teenager found dead beside a busy road has been described as "wonderful, caring and loving" by his family.
The body of Martin O'Connor, 18, was discovered by a jogger at around 8.15am on Saturday beside the northbound carriageway of the A44, between the Begbroke and Bladon roundabouts.
Speaking from their home in New Road, Woodstock, members of Mr O'Connor's family said they were too upset to talk about his death.
They issued a short statement which read: "Anyone who knew Martin does not need to see in black and white what a wonderful, caring and loving man he was.
"We are thankful for the overwhelming support we have received from his friends and their families."
Police cordoned off the area where his body was found on Saturday while investigations were carried out.
A police spokesman said investigators believed Mr O'Connor, who had head injuries, may have fallen out of a tree and hit his head on a wall. The death is not being treated as suspicious.
An inquest was opened and adjourned yesterday in Oxford.
