Egg rolling was the order of the day in Didcot.

Competitors rolled hard-boiled eggs down the steep mound, off Tyne Avenue on the Ladygrove estate, to see whose egg rolled the greatest distance before breaking up.
Wallingford and Didcot Lions Club, which organised the event, charged entrants 50p in aid of the Hearing Dogs for the Deaf charity.
