Volvo has launched a luxury version of the S80 called the Executive.
The interior has been improved with increased legroom for rear-seat passengers, heated armchair-style seats, extended rear door openings for easier access, leather upholstery with walnut wood trim - and even a fridge to keep the drinks cool!
The exterior styling of the existing S80 model has been enhanced with the introduction of body-coloured trim, 17in alloy wheels and Executive badging.
A rear centre console houses an ashtray, power outlet, electric rear window sun curtain switch and additional storage compartments.
The Volvo S80 Executive is powered by a choice of two six-cylinder petrol engines, the 200 horsepower 2.9-litre and the top-of-the-range 2.8-litre turbo- charged T6 unit that produces 272 horsepower.
The 2.9-litre, 200 horsepower model is available with a four-speed automatic transmission, while Volvo's sequential Geartronic system is standard on the T6, and optional on the 2.9-litre variant.
Prices start from £30,355 on the road for the 2.9-litre Executive and increase to £32,400 for the flagship T6 model.
