The close link between Oxford Harlequins RFC's junior section and Summertown Stars FC produced £40 for Comic Relief and a lot of laughs when the coaches and parents of both clubs in a combined football and rugby match.
Summertown scored four goals. Faced with inevitable defeat, the Harlequins in true Webb Ellis style, changed the rules and scored two tries.
The Quins argument, that as tries counted as five points, the final score should be 10-4 in their favour, raged long into the post-match celebrations.
After collecting £40 in donations, it was agreed that the fixture should be repeated next year.
