Witney won the Oxford League's Stephen Reiss Cup for the second time when they defeated Morris Motors 4-1 and by 411-347 on aggregate.
Roger Tomlin (+80) gave Morris Motors a superb start when he outplayed an out-of-touch John Hume (+30) 200-153.
Steve Mill (+110) then levelled the match for Witney when he beat Doug Baker (+60) by 150-109, giving Morris Motors an aggregate lead of 309-303 going into the final game.
Witney's Terry Cook (+50) soon wiped out the deficit against Bob Heyward (+80) and began to reduce the gap between their handicaps.
The writing was on the wall for Motors as Cook won 150-108 to guide Witney through to their first success since 1997.
Meanwhile, Riley A went back to the top of with a 3-0 win at Newtrim.
Ashton picked up a second successive 3-0 win. This week their victims were New Club.
Witney have amassed a massive 38 points and 13 wins to lead Division 2, eight points clear of Morris Motors.
But Pride of place went to Riley A with their 3-0 win over Newtrim.
Roger Coenen (+70) set the standard for Riley A when he beat Norman Woodcock (+90) 150-137.
Dave Morgan (+60) then followed his captain's example and beat Bob Chivers (-10) 200-141. To cap all that, newcomer Warner Page (+100), somehow managed to beat Simon Aries (-50) 200-177, despite breaks of 31, 34 and 37 by the loser.
