By David Duffy Technology law firm Brobeck Hale and Dorr (BHD) has been named UK Technology Law Firm of the Year at the European Technology Forum awards.
The latest accolade follows its capture last month of the Legal Business award of Best US Law Firm in London - 2000.
Managing partner Tom Kellerman said: "We are delighted to have been nominated for these awards. Our strategy is to make BHD the leading technology law firm in the UK and winning these awards is an endorsement of that." Joe Pillman, a partner in the firm's office at Milton Park, near Abingdon, said: "The past 12 months have been very important in terms of BHD's growth and development."
The firm has more than 60 lawyers in offices in London, Munich and Milton Park and an additional 1,500 lawyers in 13 cities throughout the United States. Clients include firms in the IT, biotechnology and life science industries, as well as the financial intermediaries that serve them.
