Henley produced their best performance of the season as excellent handling in muddy conditions, allied to a strong defence, secured a 24-7 victory over Wakefield at Dry Leas.
By scoring four tries, Hawks earned another valuable league bonus point.
After conceding an early try to Andy Metcalfe, converted by Rob Liley, Hawks hit back to lead 12-7 at half-time.
Powerful South African centre Werner van Pittius burst through with a charging run to open their account, while fly half Duncan Roke went in under the posts for Matt Jones to convert.
After a spell of Wakefield pressure, Henley increased their lead when the alert Dan Smaje took a tapped penalty, and Ricardo Van Zyl's lateral run sent winger Bruce Rowland scorching in under the posts. Jones's conversion made it 19-7.
Henley sealed the game in memorable fashion when No 8 Justin Hendriksz stormed away to set up - with the help of replacement scrum half Ben Ayres - a second try for Roke.
