Thame A lifted the Simonds Cup with a 4-2 victory over County A.

The first frame went the way of Thame, with Mick Bennett recording a 72 break, but Alex Digweed levelled matters, taking the second frame by a single point.

Martin Cone put Thame 3-1 ahead as he beat Jimmy Ewers. Neil Craycraft clawed a frame back for County by overcoming Brian Dicker in frame five, but Dicker recovered to win the final frame by 11 points to clinch the title.

The final of the New Team Cup saw Oxford Snooker C beat Littlemore British Legion A 4-1.

Terry Winstone and Andy Trafford traded the opening frames, with Trafford's greater aggregate taking the opening point for Oxford.

The tables were turned as Lawrence Smith overcame Ian Lacey to level the points and give Littlemore a 17-point aggregate advantage, but in the final pairing, Fai Leong swept Les Gaul aside as Oxford Snooker ran out 4-1 winners.

In the Sherlock Cup final, Thame E beat Division 3 rivals House Club B in a close affair.

It all came down to Paul Larkins needing to win the final frame by 23 or more points if House Club were to win on aggregate. Although Larkins duly won the frame, his margin of victory was just five points, thus handing the overall aggregate to Thame.

Thame A met County A again, this time in the Jubilee Cup and took another giant step towards winning it with a 5-0 win.

Once again Bennett and Digweed contested the first two frames. This time, Bennett produced a 75 break to secure the aggregate point.

Jimmy Ewers was then edged out in two close frames with Phil Collins before Martin Cone beat Neil Craycraft.

In the league, Woodstock A beat Oracle B to record their first Premier/Division 1 win of the season. Stuart Reeve set them on their way, beating Ray Benwell.
