A fundraiser is joining Formula One team owner Eddie Jordan on a 380km cycle ride through India in aid of charity.
Hayley ParsonsHayley Parsons, 23, of Edgeway Road, New Marston, Oxford, and other cyclists, including Mr Jordan and his wife, Marie, aim to raise money for Cancer and Leukaemia in Childhood (Clic). The ride, in November, will take five days, beginning at the Taj Mahal and ending in the 'pink city' of Jaipur.
Miss Parsons, an assistant fundraiser at Clic's Oxford office, said: "I have never done anything like this before and for me it is going to be a real physical and mental challenge but I am hoping to raise at least £2,500 for Clic and need all the support I can get."
Mr Jordan is a patron of Clic. Last year he and Miss Parsons took part in the charity's bike ride from the Red Sea to the Dead Sea, which raised £135,000.
