The difference between the two Cherry Red Records Hellenic League teams was Cleeve's free-scoring forward Kevin Slack who notched a hat-trick.
He opened his account on 30 minutes when he outpaced the whole Kidlington defence, but Kidlington rallied after the break and Jess Tallboys headed home a Frazer Gills corner for a deserved equaliser.
A late injury to Kidlington's Danny Mason forced a defensive reshuffle and Slack capitalised with two more goals.
