A man convicted of armed robbery at an Oxfordshire garden centre has been jailed for 14 years.
Giles Robinson, 27, of Greenford, Middlesex, was found guilty at Reading Crown Court of conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary and related firearms offences.
He was arrested following a raid on the Toad Hall Garden Centre at Fawley, near Henley, last May, in which an 85-year-old man was threatened at gunpoint and robbed of money in a safe.
A second man Stephen Bryant, 35, of no fixed address, was found guilty of the same offences. He received the same sentence last Wed- nesday.
Investigating officer Det Sgt Pete Bierne said: "This was a premeditated attack on a partially-infirm 85-year-old man in his own home. Had it not been for his mental strength this incident could have had tragic consequ- ences.
"The sentence reflects how seriously the court regards this offence. Fortunately, offences like this are rare."
