Your parish needs you! That is the message from Cholsey parish councillors who are trying to find replacements after three council members resigned.
Chairman George Crockett said: "Our full complement is 13, but we are down to ten at present. It impairs our performance as a council, and limits what we can do."
All three resignations were due to people moving away from the village.
Despite advertising, the council has not been successful in recruiting.
Residents who live within the parish boundary, which includes Winterbrook, may apply. The council meets at 7.30pm on the first and third Wednesdays of the month.
Mr Crockett said: "Beyond the two monthly meetings, people can get as involved as they wish."
Anyone interested can contact the parish clerk, Ian Miles, on 01491 652255, or Mr Crockett on 01491 652154.
