There will be a major restructuring of the Oxfordshire Foursomes League, resulting in a switch from three to four sections for the 2002-03 season.
Instead of three divisions of eight clubs, there will be four divisions of six, allowing time for the possible introduction of a knock-out competition.
A club's place in the new structure will be determined by the finishing positions in this year's league.
The new Section 1 will include the top five finishers in Section 1 plus the Section 2 winners.
The new Section 2 will contain the bottom three in Section 1, the second, third and fourth teams in Section 2 plus the Section 3 winners.
The bottom five teams in this year's Section 2 plus the runners-up in Section 3 will go into the new Section 3.
The new Section 4 will contain the remaining five teams in Section 3 plus one new club.
At the league's annual meeting, Chesterton, who quit last season, were re-elected under their new name of Bicester Golf and Country Club, while Carswell were elected for the first time. Both will play in Section 3 next season.
Shaw and Company have agreed to sponsor the league for a further three years.

This year's annual presentation dinner will be held at Drayton Park GC, Abingdon on Friday, February 23.
