There will be a major restructuring of the Oxfordshire Foursomes League, resulting in a switch from three to four sections for the 2002-03 season.

Instead of three divisions of eight clubs, there will be four divisions of six, allowing time for the possible introduction of a knock-out competition.

The new Section 2 will contain the bottom three in Section 1, the second, third and fourth teams in Section 2 plus the Section 3 winners.

The bottom five teams in this year's Section 2 plus the runners-up in Section 3 will go into the new Section 3.

The new Section 4 will contain the remaining five teams in Section 3 plus one new club.
