Young artists are making an impression by following in the footsteps of the great painters.
Budding painters from Stockham Primary School in Wantage, including 11-year-old Chloe Ellis, pictured above, have been busy with their brushes, preparing an innovative exhibition of pictures based on the work of the world's most famous artists.
The youngsters, all aged ten and 11, have launched a show of paintings inspired by the great names of modern art.
Their studies, based on works by artists such as Monet, Van Gogh, Picasso and Dali have gone on show at Wantage's Vale and Downland Museum.
Deputy headteacher Jill Dovey said: "Historically, the school has been very keen on art but it is getting harder and harder to do anything creative because of time pressure on the curriculum."
One of the artists, Megan Titchell, 11, said: "This is the best art project we have done. It was good fun and we got really messy."
