Casts of dinosaur footprints found at a quarry have been developed into a game for children.
The casts were made by Anthony Durkin, who runs a company called Tourist Marketing, after the prehistoric footprints were discovered at Ardley quarry last summer. Mr Durkin, of Medina Gardens, Bicester, has created a children's activity pastime called Dinosaur Chase based on the casts he moulded.
The game, which consists of four large dinosaur footprint mats, 24 prehistoric eggs and a poster, is being tested by children from the Launton School's early years unit. Mr Durkin, who hopes to market it worldwide, said: "The idea came after I made the casts of the dinosaur prints.
"Children love dinosaurs and the game is all about enjoying the chase of collecting dinosaur eggs."
He is also aiming to advertise his brainchild on the Internet.
He added: "Through the use of language translation software, we will be able to e-mail the game over the Internet to schools across the world."
