Floral tributes have appeared at the spot where a woman cyclist died in an accident with a tipper lorry.
Bouquets of flowers have been placed near the junction of Cripley Road with Botley Road, Oxford, where Rachel Barker, 30, of Montagu Road, Botley, died last Thursday.
One tribute bore a card which read simply: In memory of Rachel Barker, a fellow cyclist and friend.
The rush-hour tragedy prompted immediate calls for improved safety for cyclists.
Green councillor Mike Woodin urged the city and county councils to spend more money on cycle lanes across Oxford.
And on Thursday, the day of the accident, county councillors at the highways and road safety sub-committee approved a further 50,000 package of improvements to the station junction.
