A playgroup is to receive a 750 donation thanks to the generosity of supermarket staff and customers.
Robin Playgroup, of Kidlington, will benefit from cash donated at the local Sainsbury's store. The retail chain gives customers a penny for every bag they re-use.
Playgroup chairman Alison Cook said: "We are planning to spend the money on some new outdoor play equipment for the summer period, a new water play trough and some other toys for the children. It may also help pay for another member of staff as we expand our provision for four-year-olds."
Store managers will hand over the cheque on Thursday at the group's base, the Scout Centre, in Blenheim Road.
