Oxford City's Hannah England finished third for England in the Cross International de Italica in Seville, Spain.

This event was the second England junior fixture of the season, and is acknowledged as one of the most prestigious races in the world, attracting top quality opposition.

Running for the junior women's team, England finished in third place, crossing the line in 14mins exactly.

And her performance wrapped up a 1-2-3 for the team with debutants Joanne Maddick and Danielle Salek finishing first and second.

Radley's Olivia Elder won the bronze medal in the under 15 girls' 60m at the Southern Indoor Championships at Brunel University, Uxbridge.

Elder clocked 8.2secs to finish third, after qualifying for the final with a time of 8.19secs.

Under 17 Kelly Daly claimed bronze in the high jump with a leap of 1.60m.

Becky Marsh was third in her heat of the 60m in the under 17 girls' 60m, and Alex Jones came fifth in his heat of the under 15 boys' 60m.

Witney Roadrunners Sam Hook and Sam Benfield carried on their fine winter form as they competed at the Cardiff Indoor Open.

Both athletes got through to their finals in the 60m, with under 20 Hook finishing fourth in a club record of 7.43secs, while under 15 Benfield clocked 8.08 in his final, also coming fourth.

Hook gained his second club record of the day when he finished runner-up in the shot with a throw of 10.20m. Then he leapt 11.91m in the triple jump.

Under 13 Josh Benfield won the shot with a personal best of 5.93m.
