A company that produces MG car parts has moved within a short drive of the car manufacturer’s spiritual home.
Frontline Solutions has relocated to Steventon, near Abingdon, the spiritual home of the marque.
The business, which started in Bath in 1991, can convert the ageing classic cars into vehicles capable of speeds up to 160mph. Enthusiasts send MGs from all over the world and the company is working on cars from America, Netherlands and Wales.
Sales director Ed Bracklik said: “Our business has grown and we thought where better to expand than up the road from where MG cars were originally built.”
Abingdon has a thriving MG Car Club, which has 120,000 members worldwide.
Club spokesman Chris Seaward: “It’s fantastic that people who visit Abingdon for MG have another attraction to go to.”
