Plans to rebuild or refurbish every school in Oxfordshire have moved a step closer after Oxfordshire County Council was formally accepted into the Building Schools for the Future programme.
It was announced in March that the council was set to join the programme, with Larkmead School in Abingdon, Cheney School and Iffley Mead School in Oxford, and Banbury School due to be the first to receive an investment of more than £60m.
Now the council has taken the next step in the process by being formally accepted into the scheme.
