This was initially a very tight affair, Hanney were missing their regular goal keeper and two other players due to the A34 being closed. The game started with a full but makeshift Hanney team. Kidlington dominated the first 20 minutes and had a few chances to take the lead. Hanney's players arrived and the game changed but not before Kidlington missed a penalty.

Hanney scored first taking the lead from a fantastic Harry Andrew free kick from outside the box which flew into the bottom left hand corner. From then on in Hanney had the better of the game but Kidlington always looked dangerous on the counter. Philip Webster and Chris Willison added to the tally before Kidlington got a consolation.

This was a very tense affair, thank you to Kidlington for notifying us of the road works congratulations to them on their promotion, they pushed us all the way throughout season.
