A MAN was found dead on the railway line near Cholsey this afternoon.
Thames Valley Police were called just before 4pm after reports of a man being hit by a train.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His identity is not yet known.
Train services between Oxford, Didcot, Reading and London were badly disrupted but were up and running again, but with continuing delays, by 6pm.
