A 48-year-old man has been arrested after police raided a cannabis factory in South Oxford early today.
Police officers called at the flat in Salter Close, off Whitehouse Road, shortly after midnight and seized about 50 cannabis plants.
Vicky Brandon, a spokesman for Thames Valley Police, said: “A 48-year-old man, believed to be the occupant of the flat, has been arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis.
“The plants have been taken away for analysis and will later be destroyed.
“The man is currently being questioned at St Aldate’s police station.”
