A GUNMAN wearing a Halloween mask escaped with the contents of a Bloxham supermarket's safe.
The man went into the Co-op, in High Street, at about 9.45pm on Sunday, took out a gun and rounded up staff and customers.
He then told one of the employees to empty cash from the safe into a bag before he escaped.
The attacker was wearing a mask in the style of the horror film Scream.
Dc Lee Newman said: “Thankfully, no-one was hurt during the robbery, but many of the staff and customers were left shaken by the incident.
“I would like to hear from anyone who might have seen a man acting suspiciously in the Bloxham area at the time of the robbery, or anyone who may have seen the robber leaving the store and seen where he went."
