HUNDREDS of McFly fans queued up in Witney yesterday to meet their idols.
Bassist Dougie Poynter and drummer Harry Judd signed autographs for screaming fans at Rapture, Oxfordshire’s only independent record store.
Debi Wiffen, from Witney, gave Harry a big kiss. She said meeting the band had made her year.
Jess Handchard, 17, queued for seven hours and said: “I can’t stop shaking. I will definitely remember it forever.”
Alice Saltmarsh, 20, said she had seen the band play 36 times, adding: “It was pretty awesome – I’m actually shaking.”
The band were in the store to promote new single Shine a Light and album Above the Noise.
