A 24-year-old man from Oxfordshire has been charged with 18 counts of fraud by false representation following an investigation by Thames Valley Police.
Alfred James Down, of East Challow, is accused of defrauding an elderly woman from East Hanney, out of more than £45,000 between June 2008 and March 2009. It is alleged the money was taken out of her bank account without her consent.
