A man’s body was found in a stream in west Oxford this afternoon The police’s Underwater Search and Rescue team found the man, in his 20s and from the Oxford area, in the Bulstake Stream, near North Hinksey Lane, off Willow Walk, Osney Mead at 12.30pm.
He was reported missing to police by a family member at 8.30am yesterday.
Police spokesman Victoria Brandon said: “The death is being treated as unexplained at this stage and an investigation will be carried out to establish the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.”
