Police are appealing for information after three burglaries in Henley over the weekend.

Between 9.30am on Friday, and 5pm on Sunday, burglars forced their way into a property in Ravenscroft Road and stole a laptop, mobile phone, credit cards and keys to an Audi A3 Sport.

The thieves then stole the grey Audi that was parked outside the property.

The second attempted burglary at a property in Chalkhouse Green Road on Saturday is believed to be linked to this.

Burglars were scared off by the homeowner after they were heard trying to force their way into the house. Nothing was stolen, but there was damage caused to the front door of the property.

The third burglary, that is not believed to be linked to the other two, was at a property in Bell Lane between 7.30pm and 11pm on Friday.

Burglars forced their way into the property and stole two mobile phones, a laptop, a digital camera and a purse containing cash and credit and debit cards.

PC Matt Napper, from the South Oxfordshire Priority Crime Team, said: “I would urge anyone with information about any of these burglaries to come forward and speak to us as soon as possible.

“We want to hear from you if you saw anyone suspicious in these areas or saw any suspicious vehicles.

"We would also urge residents to be vigilant at all times and to contact us if they ever feel concerned about anything.”

Anyone with information should contact PC Napper via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police Enquiry Line on 0845 8 505 505. Alternatively, you can contact the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
