A 24-year-old man has been accused of defrauding an elderly woman out of £45,000.
Alfred James Down, of East Challow, is charged with 18 counts of fraud by false representation between June 2008 and March 2009.
He has also been charged with acquiring criminal property, namely cash, to the value of £45,320.
